About Mobile Bat Removal

Welcome to mobilebatremoval.com. We are the only qualified bat removal company in Mobile, Alabama. For over the past 20 years, we have been providing bat removal and prevention services to homes and businesses. Contrary to what you might think, bats are fascinating creatures. Asides from being the only mammals capable of flight, their ecological role cannot be overstated. Bats help to keep the insect population in check. A single brown bat can eat about 5,000 mosquito-sized insects in a night! Bats also help to pollinate crops like cotton, corn, bananas, mangoes, and more. However, the problem arises when they decide to roost inside your home or building. Aside from the health risks they pose, their droppings will pollute your attic. Our goal as a wildlife company is to effectively resolve human/bat conflict in the most humane way possible. That starts by adopting only humane removal tactics. That's why we do not make use of traps or poisons in bat removal. There are several excluding device designs that have proven to be effective for preventing bats into your house. Examples include one-way exclusion doors and tube systems. Our bat removal process starts with a full inspection of your property to find out how they're getting in. Once we seal all entry holes, we install an exclusion device on the last hole to prevent them from reentering. We then perform a full restoration to clear off their guano (droppings) and decontaminate the infected space. By the time we're done, it'll be almost impossible to tell you had an infestation before. That's how good we are, and we have countless testimonials from our clients to attest to that. Trust us to effectively handle your bat infestation problem today.  We operate 24-7-365, so don't hesitate to call us at 251-318-1446 to discuss your bat problem and schedule a fast appointment.

Residential

We are experts at removing bats from residential properties. Whether you have a single bat trapped in your house, a colony roosting in your attic, and/or various other problems, there is no need to worry! During our removal process, we make sure to inspect your entire home carefully, tracking down all the entrypoints bats are using to invade your place. Next, we perform a process called live exclusion (where no bats are harmed and all exit your property), then seal all entry holes completely shut. We also take care of the cleanup process after, so your home is safe and clean!

Commercial

Besides residential areas, we also have a wealth of experience removing bats from commercial properties! We begin by investigating the area for possible bat entrances, covering holes even as small as 1/4 of an inch. Through our live exclusion process, bats leave the building through one-way exits, and we seal up every hole afterward. Once the bats have been removed, we perform a cleanup process. This includes dealing with guano, replacing damaged insulation, and decontaminating the place.

What Our Customers Say

How Can I Find Bat Entry Holes In My Home?

As with any unwanted guest, you must isolate entry points before attempting to remove bats. This may be easier said than done. Bats are a vulnerable and tiny little creature that have adapted to hiding from natural predators. Additionally, they are a protected animal because they are so vital to our delicate ecosystem.

Bats do not need a large, gaping hole to invite them into your home. They are persistent little creatures of opportunity and you would be surprised at some of the ways they get in. For instance, sixteen percent of bats found in buildings enter through an open door or window. How's that for unexpected?

Most of the time, when bats enter a residence, they are either looking for shelter from inclement weather, looking for a place to roost and give birth or hiding from predators. If there is an open door or window, they will fly right in.

Believe it of not, bats only need an opening about the size of a pencil to gain entry. Its about three quarters of an inch wide. This makes your fascia board a common entry place. Bats are looking for dark areas and its dark behind the fascia board. Sealing the areas around them can prevent this.

The chimney is another common entry point for bats. About thirty percent of bats enter a dwelling through the chimney. This is most common in the fall and spring. Ensure that your chimney has a cap and that the cap has not been damaged by limbs or inclement weather.

Now think of the size of a pencil. Changes in the pitch of your roof often create inviting openings for bats to find their way into your attic. Many times, there are holes near vents and louvers to let hot air escape. If there is no screen up, or if the screen has been damaged, then it is an open invitation for bats.

Isolating Entry Points

One of the best ways to isolate bat entry points is to start in the attic. Bats have an unmistakable odor and they leave large amounts of guano behind. Bats will defecate even in mid-flight, but they do so more when they are roosting.

Find the largest pile of guano in your attic and the bats likely roost very nearby. Look for a light source near the guano that shows you their entry point. Try to do so without disturbing the bats or the guano as there are serious risks to both. Of course, you could just call a professional.
